Bloemhof dam is arguably considered to be South Africa’s top carp fishing destination. Lots of major competitions are held here every year and everyone ends up with heaps of fish.
Besides carp Bloemhof is also renowned for it’s very healthy population of huge barbel, which attracts anglers from all over the country.
