    We camped at the camping place close above at dam wall. Fishing close to what seems to be a boat launch.. It is a oity there are not more venues around the dam to fish and explore without a boat

      Thanks for the info Pieter. Yeah it seems like a wasted opportunity, Vanderkloof is a beautiful dam with lots of potential.
